Not really going to the stadium to eat food so I’m not bothered by those bad reviews. Pro tip: Have a little something to eat before you go in and if you start feeling hungry (again), hang on a couple of hours and eat from outside. Hehehehe. It’s no big deal. That $15 pizza slice. Jeez. Why would I waste my money on that.

I’m more disappointed to hear about the WiFi and parking situation. Especially the WiFi. How hard is that to get right? Makes the folks in charge look incompetent and poor planners. All that money spent and all this extra time they had to get everything sorted and they bungled it. Hopefully things get better with time.

I don't know when I'll go to a game. Mrs. Snack has had multiple back and hip surgeries the past few years. That much walking would be too hard on her. I might go with a couple friends and leave her at home sometime. I'm a guy who got used to only two meals a day. I eat a good sized breakfast around ten or eleven. Then dinner around six or seven. That breakfast carries me the whole day. If and when I can attend a game I likely won't be buying food. Maybe just a couple drinks. I've been to a lot of Dodger games. Rarely bought food there. Just not hungry enough.

I don't usually buy food at games either, assuming it'll be bad. But it being opening day at SoFi, I figured I'd give it a shot. Assumptions confirmed. ;)

Today, my buddy and I are pregaming here at home and I'm about to throw two racks of ribs on the smoker. There won't be any need for food at SoFi this evening. :D

Ebike? Uber again?

Not going tonight but i'll be there for the Bears game.

The only thing that looked good were the tots and doesn't sound like those are even available...

No Dodger Dogs? The best. Too bad Farmer John is out.

The only time I search out better food at a game is if it’s a weeknight hockey/basketball/baseball one and I didn’t have time to eat on the way down.
I also agree with the assume it’s going to suck and be surprised if it doesn’t plan.

Ubering again. I rode the e-Bike over yesterday to scope out the bike rack sitch. There seems to be plenty around, especially on the lake side. The sketchy part is the absence of any kind of bike lane for the last mile on any of the nearby streets. I also don't intend to attempt a ride unless it's an early game.

unemployment claims continue to soar in california while they continue to fall in the rest of the country, but just try finding someone in cal who wants to work, it's a fuckin' mess....

It's tough in construction too. No subs available. Parts are scarce due to shipping breakdowns. Port of LA has cargo ships lined up southward to Huntington Beach / Newport border. Can't get the cargo on trucks since truckers are scarce. What a shit show.

I know there are many who need unemployment to stay alive, but they need to weed out those who can't work and those who'd rather abuse the system. CA needs to wake up.

Shuttle to the stadium took 5 minutes less this week. They made some changes where cars can turn and only busses can.
I didn’t eat but had drinks and never waiting in a line. See pic. I am in the 400/500 section.
Return shuttle to train was 3 mins shorter.
Suspect things will continue to get better and people will continue to be unhappy.
For a pre season game, that was a lot of fun last night.
