i gotta admit, George Allen was is my favorite coach of all time..

he made the rams so intimidating back in the day, he( like so many others) just couldn't get us over the hump.. vermeil, a close second for obvious reasons..

and on another note..i don't know how to put an avatar on my posts, (sorry) and if I did, it would be either gabriel, snow, or the deacon...

probably deacon jones... my all time favorite ram, with warner a VERY close second..

Well if you figured out how or someone assigned you one, good choice. And I love the warm so cal sunshine as the back round setting for another one of those Deacon 'Got So ManyIGetToNameIt' Jones sacks. I'm really proud of their pre-GF Rams and I would so love a chance for another chance.

Used Deacon as my avi and for awhile when I was first on the PD board was "Den the Deacon." Barely remember the George Allen Rams born in 66, but my first recollection of the Rams was when I was four watching them with my Grandfather & Dad crush the Giants and loving the Horns!

Allen & Chuck Knox had much in common, in fatct, IMO, they both tighten up during post season. Allen finally got his Redskins to the Super Bowl and Knox continued to fail in Buffalo & Seattle. Time for the Rams to come back home and make things right with a Super Bowl victory!
