Hopefully, things get decided next week with SK and Spanos coming to some type of agreement to play in LA or better yet, SK paying Spanos to stay in SD.

Relo helps Davis but reduced relo fee because of an ESK assist in SD. That's an everybody in California is happy solution.

I'm only one day into my two day trip to LA and I have so many stories already.!!!!!

This one made me feel better, so I'm sharing this one. btw.....LA is so lovely to me when I'm here. Love you guys! Cheers.

So, I'm up here working, gonna grab a shuttle to go see a movie. (hateful8! Oh, love!!!!!)

While I'm waiting for said shuttle, the hotel guy asks me to wait in the bar, I ask for a Gin martini and end up next to this really old dude, like 80 or so. He is sweet as pie and we start chatting.

blah, no one needs any info other than this:

He is born and bread in Phoenix, like me. We were born in the same place. :-) We discussed the Warner years, the Cards, etc......etc.

I go, it would make me happy if my Rams came home. He bought me a drink on that one cuz he thinks it's terribly funny someone still is loving the Rams from Arizona.

Just as I'm about to go, I say: one thing gives me hope. My boyfriend had dinner w Jerry Jones and he said he always has 9 in his pocket. And, I've confirmed this over and over since then.

Old dude laughs. He goes - I golf with JJ all the time. I can name the nine.

Me: oh, I stopped.

He named the ones who vote w JJ. Said he has no clue about relocation, but JJ apparantly isn't shy about bragging on the golf course. He named them.

I was 100% sure Kroenke can block. I am now even more so.

If Kroenke indeed has 9 unalterable votes to block, then it's no secret among the owners.

It would mean they know there is no way they can get a resolution out of the Houston meeting in 2 weeks without a brokered deal.

So either they broker a deal, which is difficult to see happening without Rams to LA, or they delay, which also favors Kroenke.

Quite possibly the meeting in NY next week is happening because they know they need to broker that deal and get it on the table now.

Every thing I hear is a Jerry club of 10 or so. Enough.

What I can't get yet is any clue on relocation.

I do know Jerry wants owners who are active and "earned" their team.

Not sure w edit on my phone.

One of the most important things to Jones. Self Made money.

He refuses to support owners who did not or do not work for what they have.

Jerry want's to get LA right. He is spot on in that distinction. If indeed LA is more important than StL is the owners minds, then this is another positive for our camp.

Thanks for the heads up AZ.

Just love stories like this. Word of mouth via the public is always so much better than media garbage. Thx for posting.

AZblue:

1. You had me at "Gin Martini" (the ONLY Martini, in my estimation). The perfect cocktail (using Lillet blanc, of course)

2. Golf in the story.

3. Pre-gaming it for a movie is the only way to go.

Great post. Thanks.
