The Seahawks ran for 190 and 273 in 2018 and LOST both games. They ran for 167 and 106 in 2019 and won 1 game....the game Z missed a FG at the end. So maybe he's trying to soften the losses to the Rams in 2018 and 2019 with a little trash talking. When you go 1-3 against your division rival (or 1 of the last 5 dating back to 2017) with that one win coming as a result of a missed FG, symbolic wins are important. And those numbers look just a bit worse because of Wilson scrambling for yards (92 in 2018 and 60 in 2019). I'd like the type of defense you describe but if I can't have that, I'd like one who steps up and stops the opponent when they have to the most. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. Goff was awesome that day. Higbee and Everett played huge roles. Both made great plays besides Everett's scores. But Aaron Donald showed the world why he was DPOY. Unbelievable. Two strip sacks at cruciel times, 1 for a score, 1 for an eventual score. And Ebukam played a great game too. He scored twice but his best play was towards the end when he pulled a Fowler before Fowler pulled a Fowler in the postseason. It made me realize two things. 1. Gurley was great part of this offense, a bigger part before his drop off in the passing game. And that night the passing game was king. Kupp wasn't there. Cooks was great but went out for times. Gurley was really good receiving. Woods was Woods. Higbee and Everett delivered. Reynolds remained under appreciated despite playing well. Goff was extremely good. Our passing game was on full display and it looked great. 2. I don't care how many defenders we lose. Talib was out. Hill went out. Peters went out. But if we got Aaron Donald on that side of the ball, we have a chance to do damage. I know it sounds stupid with KC's offense scoring 45. The defense made huge plays all night despite getting gashed. >>>>I got so much enjoyment out of it, I'm going back to watch the Vikings game from week 4. Another great Goff game. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. I really want to see how we use our group of very young, olbers to create more pressure.Less pressures? Our secondary is up to that. LBs we'll have to wait and see. GO RAMS !!! GO DODGERS !!!
