I would have gotten better seats too but since I got clobbered on the rams ssl And I have dodger season tix it was the only ones that made sense.

What section are you in? I am in section 550 and Row 4, Aisle seats. The chargers rep was way more pushier than my rams rep. He really wanted to upsell the premier ones but I kept shooting him down. I told him I want $100 SSL and $50/game tickets. Eventually he backed down after I threatened to not buy anything from him. These are less of a financial risk for resell market. The Rams tickets at least I would go to those but chargers is mainly for resell and gifts to family and friends when their team is in town.

Wish the Rams SSL was even close to the chargers prices. Felt like a dummy after the chargers pricing came out.

Sorry for rambling but congrats on the tickets man! I think these are the type of stories that we will talk to our family and friends in years to come. We are the first ones to buy tickets to this new stadium. I have so many pictures when I was 1yr old going to dodger games in the 80’s. I hope to share the same with my 6 month old as he gets older.

**cheeseball alert** Money comes and goes but memories/experiences are ones that will always be talked about until its our time.

Cheers guys!

Yeah, baseball ST in general have to be a fortune because of how many games. Let alone World Series teams. I have never been to a Dodger game. :o

I stayed in the same sec too for the Chargers sec 100 but since the teams flip it turns out to be the visitor's players tunnel. Row 8 so not quite as close. I was just at the Charger game on Sunday picked up Front row A end zone for a steal to experience it. My 9 year old who has been rolling with me to games since he was 4 was handed a game used glove by a Cardinal player. It was snatched out of his hands by a Dbag adult but the Cardinal player recognized it and took off his headband handed it to my son saying "I got you". From no class to all class in the blink of an eye. I am with you experiences are what we talk about for years.

I found my Chargers sales rep to be more pushy as well. I was looking at 300 level. 1K SSL $80/GM. I was considering premier due to the affordability compared to Rams. Similar game plan since i went minimum tickets on Rams wanted tickets to bring extended family, give to friends, resell etc., I plan to use all my Rams tickets LOL. He kept pushing all the benefits of premier I finally told him I needed a break from the sales pitch. Give me an hour to think it over. Finally leaned to Premier because of benefits. My dad is a big Charger fan having spent 20 years in San Diego so football has been something I have been able to share with him. He can have the benefits.

Maybe we can arrange a seat swap for one of the games.

I don't understand the angst in price difference.

I don't want Chargers seats. I don't care if they give them away. This is a simple economic supply and demand model.

I feel I paid a fair price for the finest stadium in the world. And my seats came with perks. Perks the Charger SSLs did not come with.

The smartest guy in the room here is SK. There is always more going on than what we could even imagine. Like maybe a Charger exit plan? Just spit balling here. 8-)

Just dislike losing any potential fans over cost. There will be some for certain.

This.

This is when the Chargers went from an annoyance to me to flat out frustration with them. Fan bases, publicity, etc are one thing, but now they have hurt my pocket book and have cost me money. I really hate them now.

SWAdude wrote:Like the Clippers? :lol2:

At first the clippers playing in the old sports arena was the best way to see a Lakers game a half dozen times a year. $15. for rim high seats between the free throw lines. The Lakers were in their road Purples so that was fun.

The current Rams situation is different though. The Lakers were already well established here and never left. Not to mention the Clippers sucked forever until Ballmer got a hold of them.

Speaking of Ballmer, he'd be the perfect owner for the Chargers. He could take them back to SD in 1st class and the fans would accept them with open arms without a Spanos in the mix.

Anywho, mo Rams fans = mo better..

GO EAMS !!!
