As an aside, I find it hilarious when people describe NDAs as if they are some nefarious scheme or plot. Pretty much every settlement of a civil dispute includes an NDA or confidentiality provision that prohibits the person(s) being paid from discussing the matter publicly. Indeed, that, along with a release of claims, is precisely what the payor is purchasing when it agrees to settle a matter.

As far as the name goes, I think keeping the prefix "Red" makes sense, if for no other reason than to maintain the fight song "Hail to the Red _____"

Remember what Ford did in the 1970’s using NDAs to conceal the fact that the Ford Pinto had a fixable flaw, but execs determined that it was cheaper to let people continue to die and sign NDAs with families than to issue a recall and fix the problem. That nefarious enough for ya?

LOL. The Pinto issue was an example of nefarious NDAs? Um... no. It certainly was an example of extremely horrific corporate behavior, as well as flaws in government oversight, leading to a products liability avalanche. The notion that individual litigants being paid for silence was the crux of that issue is simply not accurate.

On Monday, CBS Sports reported that a website, “WashingtonAdmirals.com,” redirected to the WFT’s official website, WashingtonFootball.com.

They used to call their line The Hogs back in the 80's. Maybe Redhogs would be a nice option for the new name? Probably better than Redpigs.
