The last guy to ever play both punter and kicker for an NFL team. I don't know why this isn't a more common occurrance? Maybe the two skills are similar but too different, but it makes sense in my head.

I've often wondered too. You'd think there would be more guys that do both. It would mean another roster spot for the team and more money for the kicker. But then if he got hurt............

That picture of Berlin and Linehan is like a glimpse back into hell.

These are the days of the specialists. Guys that can drop the ball into a window or hit a FG from 50+. Very few guys around can probably do both at the same level these days.
