The Ripper wrote:It all sounds god but it's extremely problematic for the NFL if there would ever be an antitrust suit. Carmen Policy was just a spokesman but with Iger it's more of a joint venture between the teams which is an antitrust violation since you can't have a joint venture inside of a joint venture.

Yes, he can buy into either team and that's a big issue.

How does the ownership change (Iger getting a piece) for one team create a joint venture?

He will be working for both and the option is on both teams.

Got it. Thanks Ripper
Couldn't Iger simply denounce his "option" from one of the 2 teams? Or does that even matter?

Stan has Jerry and every owner from the NFC East on his side already. I doubt any NFC West team is against the move. I'm sure he's meeting with owners from the NFC North and AFC North at the games the Rams play those teams. Butts doesn't seem worried, so I think Inglewood is still a go.

Still have seen not 1 document on the financial details on Carson. All I ever hear is Goldman Sachs will back it. At least STL and SD have come up with numbers. Carson should be a lesson in PR. So much run with so little substance. Nevermind that Robles and Co don't appear to be on the up and up in the way they operate. Let the LA Raider fans dream a little longer.

From a Chargers board
Not sure when but the flowers are in bloom.

Is Iger missing a finger? We'll have to refer to him as Igor.

It's a desperation move.

Per Fabiani, the goal right now is to protect their perceived LA market. Not so much to actually move to LA and build a stadium, but to try and block Kroenke. They don't have much to offer other than throwing names out there...like they did with Carmen Policy, now the Disney guy.

It actually shows they aren't as far along as they've been saying

That might work but the key for Iger is the ability to buy into the more successful team in LA but there's still going to be issues. There still could be problem with a potential owner for one team who is responsible for organizing fan events for another. What about future conflicts that could develop? Is he doing more for one team than the other? What happens if one of the 2 owners passes away.? It works great as a headline but the devil is in the details and how it will actually function as the project moves forward.

Davis said yesterday that San Diego was an option and there are other options as well
