We have a 4-3 Rams team in November since like, forever (2005 I think). Foles led offense beat the Hawks, pre Gurley...Oline continues to progress, especially in the run game...As for Fish's philosophy, a similar strong running game, game manager QB with an outstanding defense recently won a Super Bowl,so the style still works. If what you are really saying is that you pine for GSOT again, I understand. But the facts are elite QB's can be counted on one hand, and good QB's are probably anothet 10 of them..There arn't enough QB's to be sufficient to do a somewhat GSOT..SO we have Gurley, the best RB in the league, and we have the best QB under center in almost two years, compared to Clemmons, Hill, and whats his face.. and FVCK giving up on this season to talk about relocation as though thats all we have...Well, for me anyway.

If we had a hard to find Brees, Brady or Manning type QB, would our CURRENT receivers suddenly be good enough? Could that caliber of a QB bring our WR's to life? .

Or, as I surmised, would finding a stud WR elevate the other receivers through diversification? Sure seems we're pretty solid most everywhere else now.

Or is it a design flaw in our play calls / design that leads to receivers not getting open short or quickly leading to roll out throw-aways or long bombs over the top.

Is Foles good a quick reads and timing routes, are the plays flawed by design to offer different release counts, or are the receivers not getting open?

How have former Ram WR's & TE's done elsewhere? Amendola seems to be doing well. The others have slipped my mind.

Uhoh did ok. Fells has done ok. another WR ,,, who was that? he did ok. Lloyd when he was here (McDaniels guy) did mediocre but did better back in NE. keep an eye on Givens now. That all I can remember.

Now that Stevie Smith is out for the year, Givens has the opportunity. Let's see what he does. I've always thought he could do well - he was one of my favorites.

The Pats put Brandon Gibson on the IR before the season started. He did ok with Miami. Zac Stacy isn't doing much with the Jets. Unfortunately, because of health issues, Fells career is over. I think Amendola has been worse than expected. He's an ok role player/4th WR. A lot of people thought he would be another Welker with a good QB. Givens had about 3 catches for about 50 yards last week.
