I think I'll let the coaching staff and Quinn do their thing on this one. Also Whitworth said he enjoys the battle and compared it to sharpening steel with steel. I've also read stuff on where he's made Whitworth eat his lunch on more than a couple of occasions. As he gets older I wouldn't even care to see him take the Leonard Little approach and playing only in passing situations. I can't wait for football season to start, I think everyone is getting bored out of their minds. I've literally seen people say to start Justin Davis week one over Gurley. it's getting out of hand and we haven't even seen a regular season snap with the new regime!

I guess your theory is wrong..

They did not have the starting line for at least 2 drives

They had the younger starters (Brown and Havenstein) still in.

whaaat??? now you're just making stuff up.... goff was in for 4 drives, 3 of which featured the starting oline (whitworth, saffold, sullivan, brown, have).... goff's 4th and final drive? williams, wichmann and blythe replaced whitworth, saffold and sullivan - brown and havenstein stayed in... again, typically, as even mcvay said earlier in the week, the oline 1s are usually kept in as long as the starting qb...
