Coples getting cut is a good sign for Ian Seau right?

Don't think it affects him at all. By my estimation there are at least 2 players in front of him at the bottom of the DL depth chart. Westbrooks and Longacre, Seau would have to beat out one of these guys to make the 53 and I honestly did not see that this year. The coaching staff seems to be really high on Longacre and from what I watched, he looks farther along than Seau. I think Seau made some good splash plays in the games he has played and that will keep him around for this last game but don't be surprised when he is cut on Saturday. From all the reports, he is a good kid and hard worker but I think he is a little undersized for a DE in regular season play. I can see him getting swallowed up and neutralized by 1st team NFL lineman.

Maybe he is offered a PS spot to spend a season bulking up and refining his craft.
