POST #31 ramman2999 wrote:Have you seen Baker Mayfield on Tampa? Come on. He’s a bounce around the league Quarterback. Carson Wentz is not leading any team and is not a winner. The Rams signed him because they didn’t have any other Quarterback on the roster to salvage the season and compete. Brett Rypien wasn’t it. Matthew Stafford is a super bowl Quarterback. He is the franchise ain’t going nowhere. That shit Is obvious him and Donald and Kupp will be here for the next Three seasons.Who is Mayfield's HC? Bowles, a defensive minded head coach, enough said, but still in the playoff hunt! And you just answered your own question based off the title of this post,Matthew isn't going anywhere, that was my whole point, but you kept arguing about getting a QB early. You don't waist picks like that, not your top 100 picks. IMONow if the RAMs want to draft a QB in the 4th round or lower,I can see that happening, but my point is why do that if you have Wentz, and the RAMs convince him to stay another year,He has the NFL experience, plus, he is learning the McVay's system being a back-up.So why waist a pick on a QB. Then to top it off, we still don't know what is going on with Bennett.Drafting a QB in the lower rounds, to me, that's telling me you're drafting a back-up, and possibly to be a starter in the league for someday if you're lucky. by 69RamFan 1 year 6 months ago Total posts: 3592 Joined: Oct 15 2016 LA CA by way of NY/NJ Superstar Does anyone see them using their first round pick on a QB next April? Now, after finding our true, long term LT (AJ just absolutely shut down Miles Garrett), and seeing how much our oline has improved, I think it might be premature to spend a high pick on a QB. We are much better at protecting Matthew now.Don't we FIRST have to find out what we have in Stetson, if anything? Maybe he gets his shit together and Sean thinks he can mold him into a damn good QB. POST #37 Elvis liked this post Lookie Lookie, Yes, I'm seeing Baker Mayfield winning another game, 2 TD 118 passer rating.Has his team leading the division, And could clinch it next week. Not doing too bad after coming off McVay's QB school! 1 by ramsman34 1 year 6 months ago Total posts: 10040 Joined: Apr 16 2015 Back in LA baby! The Bucs, like the Rams are gonna be a problem in the playoffs. by Zen_Ronin 1 year 6 months ago Total posts: 2440 Joined: Sep 26 2016 Edmonton, AB Pro Bowl Does anyone see them using their first round pick on a QB next April? McVay knowing that and putting Baker in a position to play to his strengths are what directly led to him being picked up by the Bucs, and he's super happy now that he's playing for a Coach who understands him the way McVay did.
