They are really shedding and depleting themselves of what was a proven winning group, so the Snead and Pastoors team are really under the mighty microscope clock to get a lot right at once.

As long as who ever decided to kill our helmets has no say, we might have a chance.

GO RAMS!!

The Rams will definitely need to lean on the players they drafted in 2021 and 2022.

From the 21 draft: time for Atwell, Rochelle and Bobby Brown (Jones and Skow already have) to really step up, they will need to contribute in much bigger roles

From the 22 draft: this draft class will be leaned on heavily. Durant and Kendrick at CB and Yeast and Lake at safety, Kyren at RB and Hardy at edge. These guys will need to be a factor if we are to have a decent defense.

And we need a couple starters out of the 23 draft, with 3 picks in the top 77 and 11 picks overall it is possible.

My only hope now with some cap space, is that the Rams can work out something with Gaines, if not maybe a vet or two in the third wave of free agency.

Per a blogger named Bret Stuter, of the 45 Ram players under 2023 Contract at present, there are 13 UDFAs of that total of 45 signed Rams, or nearly one third.

Not sure if that number above includes CB Shaun Jolly & ILB Christian Rozenboom who were apparently just re-signed today.....to join Canadian Ram UDFA guy (from Mississauga, ON, ramsrams town) DL Michael Hoecht who was also re-signed recently..

On a downer note for Ram foreigners, OT Max Pircher, the Austrian guy from Italy, was bid arrivederchi today by Los Ramos. Pircher was on that NFL International Pathway Program, and his body didn't count against the other Ram Cap bodies...
....but I guess his money must've. :|
Anyway, Pircher is GONZO.

BTW, ramsrams, me and the rest of the Canadians here at RFU appreciate having our fellow Canuck Michael BlacksmithArms Hoecht as the Headline Banner Feature since his new 2023 re-signing! :D :arrow2: ;)

Here's a list of the cap savings:

Floyd (3.0 mil)
Ramsey (4.5 mil)* it was 5.6 but I'm going by memory there. They added 1.1 with the TE
Noteboom (9.0 mil) restructure
Koski (0.94 mil)
Pinkney (0.94 mil)
Sterns (0.75)
Roberson (0.75)
Thomas (0.75)
R. Carter (0.75)
TJ Carter (0.75)

Pircher (0.75)** He wasn't in the top 51 until they released those 7 sub mil players, so I guess he's now a savings

That's 22.88 mil but we were 14.8 over so the difference is 8.08...add in Wagner @ 5 mil and we should be 13.08 below the cap. As Canuck posted they signed a couple of guys (Jolly and Rozeboom) so add their money. If they're the minimum it's probably 0.87 each which should give us around 11.34 mil. We probably still need to restructure or release a couple in order to sign our draft class (9.0 mil) and some free agents.

Gotta bring back Taylor Rapp especially with what happened with Ramsey. You need some vets back there. I think we can do an anffordable deal with him 40 million 10 million guranteed.
