I had a brief chat with him after the meeting and he said "make sure and tune in, I got more inside stuff on why this went down the way it did". For those of you who can't get 980am at noon, I'll post highlights of what Fred had to say. And no way was I going to let Fred get away without mentioning ramafansunited. he worte it down and said he would check us out.
Talked to my nephew who lives in Clairmont Mesa, They showed some of my interview on the 11o'clock news! Does that make me famous?

Thanks King, great listen feel bad for Mayor Robles, but sure pleased that Inglewood is led by James Butts, he seems like a winner IMO.

The fact that Policy was supposed to be there but wasn't and Fabiani didn't speak seems really odd to me. Say what you will but when it comes to PR The Chargers usually have their act together.

I think Fabiani was caught off guard too. There's only so much spin people will believe and if this wasn't a last second change he wouldn't have been there either. It would be easier to explain away no one showing up than pictures of him standing around and talking with reporters.

What the heck is this "not ready for the public" part that had the presentation pulled? Was there something they fed the NFL that the public would refute publicly if they heard it? Or perhaps just plain some details of the deal that they didn't want the public to know,,,, or something that has changed? That part seems off.
And who exactly are "they" that told the Mayor no? I smell a rat,,,,, or is that methane?
Perhaps the Raiders are trying to make noise in Oakland (per reports) and they are the ones who asked for the Carson presentation to be quiet so not to confuse the effort in Oakland?

The Oakland Raiders are a mess they have a clueless owner that makes Georgia Frontiere look organized. Mark Davis is a joke and the NFL truly needs to ostracize him or give that tiny stadium in Oakland. He's a clown and not having a representative there just enhances my opinion of the Dutch Boy Paint poster boy.

In the end, it would be a shame to have to share a stadium with Davis because he does not deserve that type of venue. I just find it amazing that the Raiders continue to be the black eye of the NFL and I respected Al Davis for what he brought to Football although he did create strive because he was trying to settle an old score of not being NFL commissioner because the AFL owner sold him out. His son is just clueless IMHO.
