I have no idea what the delay is all about, but the fact that its now being reported that the project may cost $2.66B has to be part of whats going on.

That $# would have come from the Rams. Why do that now?
It makes the reality of cost overruns a bit more obvious.
It put's the CoC project above Carson from a $$ standpoint.
It also shows ESK fallible in his calculations.

max, the roof elevation could be the only FAA related item that could delay the construction. The construction materials or reflective coatings, no.

The delay could be impacted by the construction of the roof materials/coatings, etc. That makes sense. But that wouldn't delay the start of budding the stadium.

If we had a system of an aircraft that had issues with the FAA that needed to be resolved, that would not stop the building of the rest of the aircraft. It would delay certification until it was resolved, for sure.

That's why I mention the elevation. If it has to be lowered, then the foundation plan would be altered ans it might go deeper into the ground.

Ah maybe it is the el Nino too. I have read too many tea bags this year, and I don't even really enjoy tea that much.... lol

I hope we get a nice report from AZBlue tonight.

A few years ago I was them build a 36 story building, including digging 10 stories down 1st, in months and months of rain. El Nino ain't stopping or slowing anything down.

And the FAA thingy, another straw man that can be deal with later, if it even needs to be.

Stranger, as a builder small developer, I agree with what you are saying about the rain. Did you build during an el Nino though? My first impression (and generally still is) is that something doesn't add up with this delay. It's something else.

A lot of tweets and leak / spin across the board today. Tomorrow is going to be the (e)Iger presentation. The bombshell will be dropped and everything will possibly look different.

This thing is out of our control so I am just going to keep my fingers crossed and hope for the right news. If I had to bet, I would put my money on Kroenke, but I lose as many bets as I win so that won't help calm my nerves one bit.

Everyone, say your Rams prayers to the football gods and may the Angels of our fair city show the Rams the way home.
