Basically, looking like Rams and Chargers in Inglewood, nobody in the room thought the St. Louis stadium deal was credible...

is that what Vinny said or Roggin?

Yes.

Also said the sentiment from the owners is that all 3 guys will come away with something that makes them happy. Indicates that Davis will get help in Oak or wherever.

All the owners raised eyebrows over STL plan, it stinks to them. Dead in the water.

Vinny said its almost impossible for Spanos to go back to SD. Burned bridges probably worse than Kroenke did in STL. Plus the owners don't believe SD will get voter approval for funding.

That's strange, talking to Charger fans they feel that Spanos hasn't gone overboard as Kroenke did. They admit he's attacked the mayor and the politicians but he hasn't burned bridges with the fans like Kroenke has. I think in the end if they moved their last stadium proposal to the site that Spanos prefers it'll get the job done.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised to hear Vinny say it was that bad for Spanos in SD, but I'm not there so I have no idea.

SD would take the Chargers back with open arms, same for St. Louis and the Rams.

Say a few nice things, sign a long term lease, and it's over. People are mad because their teams are leaving. If they're not leaving, they won't be mad anymore...

I saw this post on the Chargers forum, anyone hear anthing more about it? I was wondering if Kroenke was going to attack the Carson site for the toxic dump issues. And, I've not had time to read full threads...so, if it's already been brought up, sorry. I hope he attacked them on this.

I heard Kroenke brought up the gas capture devices, plastic cap and deep foundations to the owners during their recent meeting. Kroenke is pulling out all the stops... timing is everything. Stan's not so silent any more...

Fans still love the team. They met them when they returned home from Oakland - it was all over the news. Chargers can easily stay in San Diego. All my friends would be overjoyed if Chargers stayed, and just forget this moving thing was ever brought up.

This was also from SD, Acee...

next moves will be made by the teams seeking to move. They must file further documentation by the end of the week guaranteeing their commitment to an opening date for their proposed L.A. stadiums and other prerequisites set by the NFL.

So Carson is on the hook to substantiate their opening date commitment well before the meeting next week in Houston. I'm wondering if Iger even says anything after the Carson opening date is something closer to reality like 2021.

wow..that would be great. He is a developer and would know what's he's talking about as far as developing a site like that....certainly more so than Carmen policy and Iger.
