I’m curious as to how Hammond thinks the defense got better? In 7 losses they gave up an average of 32 offensive ppg. 3 games over 40 ppg.

wade's defenses have given up almost a season's worth of 30+ point games in the 3 seasons he's been here, i.e. the bad guys have scored 30 or more offensive points on wade's defenses in 15 of the games the rams have played over the last 3 years.

in that time, from 2017-2019, teams not named the rams have combined for a 53-317 (.143) record when giving up 30+ points, yet the rams have managed to post a 7-8 record, which is insane... in fact it's something that goff doesn't get nearly enough credit for imo, having to put up so many points to get a win... in games that the rams defense has been able to keep the bad guys under 30 offensive points, the rams are 26-7.

There are some situations (i think) where if you get a certain look it's an automatic fake, maybe that's what happened? Maybe someone made a mistake?
