In a related story I only listen to Fred when he talks relocation. As soon as he starts talking Lakers and Kings (which I'm a fan of both teams) I stop listening.

You're exactly right. Vinny B has made a name for himself through NFL relocation, when nobody knew who the hell this guy was before. I follow LA sports pretty religiously and had never heard of him until March. Also, go look at the PD or SDUT articles and see the number of comments left on relocation articles versus generic team articles such as game results or team positional analysis.

Take all these articles with a gynormous grain of salt.

No, Grubman said that the NFL considers that team money.

No, because any shortfall rests on the team not the "public."

I also like how they threw in the money they're already spent on themselves. Also, I see the total package has crossed the 1.1 billion dollar threshold.

This deal appears worse for a team and better for the city. There's NO way SK is behind this.

So Stan is to pay 550 mill and give up 161 mill in PSL

Total- 711 mill for Stan

For a tier 2 stadium he doesnt want.

Oh and its nice to see ths sticker price is over 1.1 billion now

The team is on the hook for cost overruns also.

I think Jerry Richardson is pushing for STL just like SoCal said.

Absolutely

So the good news for Stan is that the NFL will kick in 100 mill (Which will probably be spent in over runs) and he merely has to pay an additional 800k per year in "rent"

Now I'm not the real esate mogul that Stan is, but something tells me that if you put 65% down, you probably shouldnt be paying rent...
