Either way they probably will, whether it's if they stay at Soldier Field or move out to the boonies.

I'm not a stadium engineer and just play one on a message board, but I don't know how the put a dome on Soldier Field. They've got major space issues on the west side along Lake Shore Drive.



Like I said this is face saving measure to act like they did stuff.

That stadium has had 4 different names in only 20 years. I don't recall hearing about any fan angst over stadium name changes in Seattle. But then, why would there be, with names like those?

Seattle is filled with transplants who have no deep connections to the city that is rapidly growing. Most people from Pittsburgh are multi-generational residents of the city or the SW Pennsylvania region. Not much changes there and they don't like change. Different mindset.

But apparently they're throwing fans a bone and keeping a significant Heinz presence.
