It sort of became obvious after a while. Being on of the teams that could have ended up in the losers bracket wasn't fun though. It also show McVay and co didn;t want a change at DC unless forced.

I get the fresh new blood point of view but I still miss the days of players and coaches sticking around for a while longer than 1 or 2 good seasons.
At least the HC's tend stick, , unless they stink. .
