So if Goff wins the games, he’s ready and if they lose he’s not.
Determing someone’s “readiness” based on their results is just ludicrous.

Was the win over the Seahawks last Sunday a landmark win?

Sure was in my book.

It would be fun to go back through my Rams history to discover this team's landmark wins.

  • Surely, the niners beatdown in '99.
  • The 14-12 playoff victory of the Cowboys in Dallas
  • The Saturday night victory over the Steelers 10-3 (or was it 10-7?) at the Coliseum in the 70's
  • I'm sure there were some key Vikings victories, but can't recall them now. (except, of course the playoff victory in 99. But I think there were others in earlier Rams history).

There are others for sure, but, I just want to note the one I bolded.

That was the John Cappelletti In the Mud Bowl.

JC had 20 carries for 106 yards, including a 26 yarder that effecticvely won the game.

Pittsburgh had 184 yards total offense.

And yeah, it was 10-7.

What do I hear coaches say all the time? By week 14 rookies aren't rookies anymore. I would suppose that works for 2nd year guys too. Goff has been learning all season. He's been progressing all season. To say "he isn't ready" is simply saying "he hasn't done it". No kidding?

Yep. And 4 TDs, game winner on a HUGE 3rd down.
