I wonder what the kid has to offer? Anybody know if he's supposed to be a receiving TE or a blocking TE? A special teamer? Did we get rid of somebody to create a roster spot? I saw Keir Thomas was signed and VanVulkenburg was released..

Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there.

My understanding is that TE/Long is Higbee type player,
can do both, catch passes and block.

As for the roster spots, prior to activating TE/Long and OLB Thomas / Van swap,
we had two openings on the 53, sitting at 51,
so with the swap and activating Long, we still have one open spot left.

I would expect Bobby Brown filling up that last spot if he gets activated,
or he goes into a 21 day holding period coming out of the IR,
if they take him out of the IR.
