I think Vinny is putting his own wants in there. Let's see how it plays out. The Rams should pay Stafford 50ish /year and they should have no real issue doing that.

Still makes zero sense for either the Raiders or Stafford. Best they could hope for is a WC berth and that is probably a stretch. They could finish 4th in their own division.

For the Rams it means maybe we are better down the road but zero chance of getting beyond the WC game over the next couple years min. The Rams would have to be ok with that.

Hypothetically, what if Rams are only interested in a 1 year deal with Stafford? What if they're saying 1 year, $40 mil while other teams have said they'll do 2 years at $50 mil each?

The most reliable source I've seen so far is a Vincent Bonsignore article (elvis quoted above) where he wrote: "The Raiders did not violate tampering rules when minority owner Tom Brady recently met with Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, the NFL said Thursday."

The Raiders have over $100 million in salary cap space. Stafford would give their fans more to cheer about than any Raiders quarterback in the past few decades.

For Stafford, he’d receive a respectable paycheck each week this season instead of an insulting one. Plus, he has four children, and while the Rams charge for childcare during home games, the Raiders provide it for free.

As for the Rams, they’d finally free themselves from the ongoing Stafford drama and get a clear path to the end of his salary cap burden.

Unless the package to trade Stafford to the Raiders includes the No.6 pick and next year’s No.1 Snead should pass.

Trading Stafford takes you from a potential Super Bowl team to a potential hope to make the playoffs team to be fodder for a top seed in the Wild Card Round. That ain’t worth a frigging high 2nd Round pick.

Stafford can play for us or retire if we don’t get a king’s ransom. He needs to realize while the Rams may stroke his ego by giving him $50M per year for 2025 so his great grandkids don’t have to work, he needs to realize that his contract has to be structure in such a way that if he decides to retire we don’t have an outrageous cap hit.

Give him $50M for 2025, $50M for 2026, and $50M for 2027, however, no guaranteed money. If he is healthy, he earns $150M over the next three years.

Well I figured something like this.

And I have Raider sources. They dont like Shaduer Sanders. This is more Raiders. They did this with Rich Gannon he won an MVP and took them to the super bowl. Mark Davis will be all over this. Get Stafford the next Rich Gannon. So if you can get a number 1 1st round pick you get it.

What the Raiders are probably offering 2nd round pick and a 3rd round pick.

What the Rams probably want 1st round pick.

What they proabably will settle on 2nd round pick future 1st round pick next season and 4th round pick this season.

Maybe Rams use that capital to move up in the draft or trade for their new franchise Quarterback guys I suggested Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow. We shall see.

I wil say I love Cam Ward and am going on record. I think the Rams love him to. He reminds me of Patrick Mahomes and has that patrick Mahomes buzz. His tape jumps out at me. Big strong.
