I'm not concerned about losing Raheem. If he goes, we get comp picks. As for a new DC, there are a lot of young creative minds out there to mine. Most are not on anybody's radar at the moment, at least at our level of knowledge, but I think HCs have their eyeballs scouring the ranks of defensive position coaches.

I hear you, but if Raheem goes he will take a lot of quality coaches with him. One of the issues the Rams faced last year was McVay having to fill coaching vacancies after the Super Bowl, there wasnt much left and had less time to get absorbed into the coaching ethos. Im all for picks but I rather it happen next year. Indy has really screwed the Rams this year.

This Indianapolis / Raheem Morris shell game is creating more distance from quality proven D coordinators and the Rams knowing what to do than Morris' soft shell D lines the DB's away from the line of scrimmage.

Blasphemy.

Call Eric Weddle. He'll come out of retirement to be DC. He's always been considered a cerebral defender, has worn the green dot and would command respect. No coaching experience? Jeff Saturday had zero and was made interim HC.

Solid point regarding taking some of our other coaches.
