not sure there's been a bigger rams cheerleader / homer in the media than cowherd during the last couple of seasons, especially this season, in fact he loves gushing about how solid the rams are on both sides of the ball, how complete a team the rams are, which i never quite got... so i guess that's changed this week?

re power rankings, frankly i've been surprised how much respect the rams have gotten through week 8, they've been ranked #1 by everyone week in and week out, and how little respect (relatively speaking) the chiefs have received.

anyway the saints have been on a roll, and they're coming off two big road wins (bal / min), so i get the love, altho they've been less than impressive in their 3 home games this season, lost to the bucs, barely eked out a win vs the browns, but did whip the redskins.

the saints have been opportunistic, they have 6 takeaways in their last 4 games, in fact their 2 takeaways against the vikes, one which was returned for a td, were a huge difference in that game... the good news is, under mcvay, the rams done a good job taking care of the ball... they rank 2nd (tied) in fewest turnovers this season, and 3rd (tied) in turnover margin - dating back to last season the rams rank 4th best in turnover margin.

Sure. Why not? And that's another game he played fairly well in.

rams? underdogs? when? where?

week 9 power rankings:
nfl.com - rams #1
espn - rams #1
pff - rams #1
cbs sports - rams #1
nbc sports - rams #1
usa today - rams #1
ringer - rams #1

week 9 road favorites against one of the hottest teams in the league, a 6-1 team that's riding a 6-game win streak.... if this is life as an underdog, i wonder what life as a favorite looks like? :shock2: :D :shock2:

That fumble by Thielen resulted in a 10 to 14 point switch. They were moving in the redzone and possibly extending their lead to 20-10 at the half. At the very least it woulda been 16-10 Vikings lead at the half. Instead the Saints score before the half and take a 17-13 lead. Then the pick 6 that Cousins thought the receiver would continue his route instead of stopping.

Even with that, if Thielen doesn't fumble the Vikes have 3 to 7 more points and the Saints have 7 less. That game coulda easily been different. Vikes yards outgained the Saints by a good margin. Turnovers will completely change the complexion of the game. We usually do a good job of taking care of the ball.

I'm looking forward to playing in the dome, think our offense is well suited for it with our speed and precision.

Saints are a very good team and we're favored in their stadium, sounds like respect to me...

las vegas knows what they're doing.. rams favored.. period..

talking heads... meh

play the game.. i believe the rams will win a blowout...

everyone else thinks it will be a close game.. i have my reasons, and i disagree..

for some reason, i think the rams bring that little bit extra this week..

and the nfl is so close as far as talent, that little bit extra, means something..

go rams

I have no worries about this game, we will blow them out. Jared Goff has always feasted on the Saints. I'm more worried about the Chiefs because Patrick Mahomes is the next Brett fucking Farve.
