One of my favorite games. The Dolphins had a couple of good corners. One, Sam Madison, was running his mouth about locking the doors of the Ed then see what happens. What happened was Warner dissected that secondary all day. Another of my favorite games was beating the Colts 42-17 towards the end of the season. From 2000 (Denver on MNF) and 1999 the win over SF early on.

The big clue that 99 was different came in game 2 in Atlanta when the Rams offense just marched up and down the field at will. That was the game of The Drive. The Drive led to their first score. 80 yards in 17 plays. In the process they converted 5 3rd downs. It was apparent right then and there that the Rams were operating at another level compared to the entire previous decade.

Oct 1, 2000 vs San Diego. Rams had the ball 11 times, scored every time, putting up 57 points. Took at knee at the end of the game possession 12. Remember the game, I was there.

no shortage of spectacularly high scoring games circa 1999-2001, but my op had more to do with the sheer number of precision passes that goff threw thursday night, when pressured, when not pressured, big time throws into very tight windows, again and again and again..... trying to remember a similar gsot passing performance.

I don't know the last time (if ever) they had 3 WRs with 100+ yards in a game, but this is the last time they had 3 players with 100+ yards in a game.

It seems to me that in 99 against the Arizona Cardinals, something like the first 23 plays the Rams ran were pass plays. Warner completed a very high percentage and the game was essentially over. Does anyone else remember that?

here's a look at the yards that the rams top 3 wide receivers for the day put up in each game during the 99-01 gsot stretch, backs, te, etc. are excluded, just wr.... honestly, it's more a curiosity than anything else, i mean so what if only 1 wr had 100+ yards on the day when faulk had 200+ yards catching the ball, right? one thing that was depressing tho when look at these numbers, proehl and hakim had the most receiving yards for the rams vs the pats in the super bowl...
