Hall of Fame Re: NFL’s “League Interests” Clause Could be Kroenke’s Loophole POST #21 Here's a TJ Simers' article from 2012 about Stan K. trying to buy the Dodgers "If Stan Kroenke gets the Dodgers, doesn't LA get the Rams?" I thought it was interesting almost four years ago, but even more interesting now. So far, it's played out like he predicted in the article. http://articles.latimes.com/2012/feb/01 ... s-20120201I'm not a Dodgers fan, but when the Dodgers were for sale, I followed the story closely because I thought for sure that would've meant the Rams are coming home. by moklerman 9 years 8 months ago Total posts: 7680 Joined: Apr 17 2015 Bakersfield, CA Hall of Fame Re: NFL’s “League Interests” Clause Could be Kroenke’s Loophole POST #22 Man, that would have been great having the Rams and Dodgers playing at Chavez Ravine. But, the gift of McCourt just keeps on giving...As far as Kroenke even needing a loophole, I don't see it. He acted in good faith with St. Louis and they chose not to play ball. He's already got whatever "out" he needs. Also, how does Spanos even have a leg to stand on in all of this? SD has come up with at least two different proposals for the Chargers to have a brand-spanking new home in SD as well as the fans are still showing up to the games. Last time I looked, they were drawing a solid 62K+ for home games.
