i like the rams chances against the titans, their defense is weak, currently ranks 28th in offensive points allowed, and of course i like the rams chances against the niners and cards, so that's 10 wins... seattle, with their depleted secondary looks good, altho it's seattle and it's at their house.. that leaves the saints and eagles, two defenses that rank in the top 8 in fewest offensive points allowed, not to mention their offenses can score... the rams have done so much in their first year under mcvay that it almost feels greedy wanting to see more, but what i'd really like to see, win or lose, is a solid offensive performance against the saints and/or eagles, i.e. a top defense... i was looking at the drive charts for the jags and vikes game, 2 of only 3 top 10 defenses the rams have faced this year, and mama mia... 2 tds, 2 fg, 2 turnovers, 13 punts and a turnover on downs, all told an average of just 10 offensive points per game, argh.

Realistically, 3 wins against the Cards, Titans, and Niners isn't a big problem.

Then at least 1 win against the Saints, Eagles, or Hawks. And there's 11 wins.

That's quite doable. But I'm good with 10 wins this year. Very happy with 11. Disappointed with 9.

One game at a time... We just have to win the next freakin game period. If our coaches and players are all up to it, I think we're good!!!

I'm with ya on that line of thinking Max. It's a testament to how far this team has come in 11 months. We will actually be disappointed with 9 wins!!! The arrogance!! :D ;) 8-)

9 wins means we finished the season 2-5. How can that be anything but disappointing?

Sure, I agree. All I'm saying is 'my how things have changed'. It's fluid. In preseason many of us wanted 8 wins, while most predicted less. After a 6-2 start there were visions of 11 or 12 wins. Now the mark is 'at least' 10. Anything less would be disappointing. Yet, in previous years at this time we'd be looking at draft order.
