AZ has beast Chicago, New Orleans, SF, who are 1-8 with -131 pt differential. If you want to crown their asses...

It will take more than 6 pts, but not like the AZ game is unwinnable. And that would put Rams at 2-0 in division and essentially 0.5 games out of first.

Welcome to RFU Indrid Cold. Nice to see you here..

Gotta win in our division to stand a chance. I'm a bit concerned about AZ though. They seem to be clicking on all cylinders. But anything can happen and that's why they play the games.

Exactly. 2-0 in the division matters next week. SF is much weaker than the Rams are - we can win this one.

Or more likely, "both".

Welcome aboard Indrid Cold.

This team has shown it can play well. But it's also shown we can't count on it.

Here's hoping you're right...

All of Fisher's Rams teams have shown exactly that. And we know how it's always ended. I see no reason to expect otherwise this season.

His inability to field a 21st century offense is what it's all about.

I'm in for the long haul. Pretty used to let downs on Sundays. This team is getting better though. It will take the offense coming around to get this team to the next level.

Playoffs? Playoffs?

It's still early in the season. Sunday is a huge division game. The defense started to look dominant yesterday and will need to step it up another notch to give the good guys a chance on the road. The O-line needs to pick it up also. If they start to grow up than the 3 headed monster we have at RB could compliment the D. We do need some WR's to step up also. I would like to see Quick active on Sunday and Bailey get some more throws his way. Givens is good for one or 2 plays a week but I think Quick would give us a better shot at some of those 3rd down conversions. Kendricks needs some stickum. He seems to run good routes but can't make the big catches when we need them. He is a great blocker but needs to put a jugs machine in his garage.

Anyway, I will be watching on Sunday...

Go Rams!

Thanks. And thanks Hacksaw. This forum looks like a good place to land!

I just think AZ is kind of a paper tiger. And a matchup that will favor some of the Ram's strengths: immobile QB and team that likes the longer, slow developing pass plays. And I'm not buying that Fitzgerald or CJ2K have all of sudden found the fountain of youth and can sustain this level of play very long. They've both been average at best for years. Palmer, too, for that matter hasn't put together a good whole season together since he played up the road from me (that's Cincy).

And if Fisher's MO is inconsistency, we're due for an up week, right?

Makes you wonder what kind of career Steve McNair could have had if he played his entire career elsewhere.

It still boggles my mind that Fisher spent 1 off season bringing in all kinds of new weapons for Sam. They were going to operate a more spread type offesne and then over a matter of two consecutive ass whoopin to Dallas and San Fran, he scrapped it, never to be seen again
