I think under Fisher, the Players had a vote but the coaches ultimately decided. Under McVay, it sounds like it is 100% players.
The fact that Goff didn't get a C is a non story to me. Whitworth, Tree and Hek getting a C makes perfect sense.
Barwin was a true leader from how I see him conducting himself during games and especially when I saw him in camp. He was always engaged, would stay after practice was over to help the younger guys. A true veteran leader.
Tru showed true veteran leadership as well all preseason. Once again I would watch him at camp and he was always engaged, especially with the younger guys.
And finally Gurley- Goff may be the one steering the car but Gurley is the engine making it move. No issue with him getting the Nod for a second year in a row.
Goff hasn't proven anything yet in the league but his time will come

What's the point of the player vote then?

wonder how mcvay landed on 6, or was it the players that landed on 6? the skins had 5 last season, i think they were for the year as opposed to weekly... the rams had 5 last season as well... the niners had at least 9 a couple of years ago.

It's like voting Republican in CA or Democrat in Oklahoma. What's the point since it doesn't really matter right. It gives us the illusion of being part of the system.

I'm sure Fisher took the players vote into account but probably swayed it his way because you know...He knows best

I like three, One Offense, one Defense and one Special Teams.

I see the San Diego Chargers of Carson/Costa Mesa are going to rotate captains on a weekly basis. Does everybody get a turn at being captain? It's like a participation trophy.,Everybody gets to be recognized
