For me, it feels like every other preseason game for about 5 years now. Well, the offense didn't do anything but it's just preseason, right? We'll unleash the "real" offense once the regular season starts.

All those penalties(11 penalties/3 points scored)? That'll get cleaned up once the real games start.

The poor pass protection? That'll get better as the line works together.

I mean, can't all of these things excuses be plugged into just about any preseason game during Fisher's tenure?

Granted, it is just preseason but my personal philosophy is: doing well during preseason doesn't mean much. But doing poorly during preseason is a red flag.

Whether they looked great, terrible, or somewhere in between, these games just don't tell you anything about how the Rams are going to be this year...

I think the last 3 Fisher years tell you a lot more than any preseason game will.

So i'm not expecting much from the offense but the defense has a real chance to be dominant...

Man, the heck with the Rams, i want the Raiders and Chargers in Carson. Rams can stay in the Lou for all i care. The Raiders look awesome, the Rams look pathetic scoring just 3 points. Rams had 10 penalties, the Raiders only 2. I hope Stan stays in St.Louis, we don't want him in Inglewood.........LOL.

I was hoping Cignetti would bring something new but I couldn't really see anything different from the last couple years of Schottenheimer. Foles threw a couple nice rainbows early but that's happened quite often with the Rams offense. A couple of decent things early but then zilcho for most of the game.

I wanted to see Tavon catching passes over the middle or down the field for example. But, he ran a WR screen, just like always. Sure, it went for 35 yards but that's the sort of play that isn't going to consistently work during the regular season. Catching the defense snoozing on the 2nd play of the preseason isn't really cause for optimism from me.

I would have much rather seen them just running the hell out of the ball and not even passing at all. At least then it would have served a purpose and explicitly showed they were just working on what they wanted to work on. Foles, Davis and what's his face all took big shots tonight and I don't know if the line can come together quickly enough to keep Foles healthy.

Oh gawd, this is getting old. I'm ready for a new coaching staff and a new city.

Just a thought for the sky is falling people. Linehan was 10-2 in preseason for his 3 years. Oh and in those 3 years he also had 11 regular season wins. 10-2 preseason 11-25 fired 4 games into his 3rd season.

There's a difference between the sky is falling and there doesn't seem to be anything new on offense. All we have to go by is what we've seen on the field and what we've seen is not much.

Should we just not talk about the game? Or just blow sunshine and rainbows up each other's butts? No one said anything about "winning" the game(which is a ridiculous concept in preseason since it's impossible to win an exhibition game).
