I would have thought Softfold would have been cut before JL. Expected both though.

His base salary fully guarantee's on 3/11/16, there is also a rumored injury clause that would cost us more if he's cut while hurt.

I can't imagine why the Rams would include any injury clause language with this guy.. I get the salary part. Hopefully they have a backup plan in mind.

It's pretty much the same as a franchise tag but the transition set amount is around $11.7M instead of the $13.7M franchise amount.

With his injury history and cost we may see the last of him within the next few weeks, unless he can convince everyone he is not healthy.

2016

Base salary: $4.5 million (Guaranteed for injury only, becomes guaranteed on third day of league year)
