Play to win!

Here's a question for you. WTF happened in that game that even remotely suggested resting players in week 18 prevented the Rams from advancing? I mean other than the fact we lost to a 12-5 team. What did resting our starters in the final game have to do with the loss to Detroit? Did we start slow? Stafford had 196 yards passing in the first half. The Rams had 17 points in the first half. Then the Rams had 6 points in the 2nd half and allowed 3 to Detroit. Hell, the lack of scoring in the second half could suggest both teams got tired after 18 and a half weeks of football!!!! It's ridiculous to suggest resting anybody in week 18 of 2023 prevented the Rams from advancing. Just like when a team loses to a lesser team, many claim they "overlooked" them. "Trap game!!!!". Etc. All that is, is food for discussion, complaint and media creation.

I never said resting starters was the reason we lost that game. I said what did resting our starters do to help us? Calm down, Luigi. It's an opinion. Don't let it upset your day...lol

In some ways this game really doesn't matter very much for Seattle.

If the Rams lose to AZ, week 18's game is for the division no matter what Seattle does tonight.

If the Rams beat AZ, it's going to take a very unlikely strength of victory outcome for Seattle to have any chance of winning the division...

How did we lose to the Bears?? What a pathetic game. Seattle wins 6-3. Chicago could do nothing on offense especially against the blitz.

Changes nothing. Rams need to smash the Cards.

To quote my son: The Bears should not be allowed to play next week. It's not fair to people with eyes.

For some reason I kept thinking of that RAMS-Eagles game back in 1998 while watching that debacle last night. That probably isn't the best example of RAMS ineptitude but it felt really icky.
