With the Adams trade and poor QB play, we damn well better stop their run.
Big Rob better bring his A game. Crosby killed him two years ago in LA. I hope Sean remembers that and gives him quite a bit of help, cause he's gonna need it. I like our Rammers by 7. Book it ;)

Defensive Coordinator Patrick Graham talks Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams

some buzzwords dropped in the presser...

On Matthew Stafford's "knows all the tricks": Some QB's "get the ball to" all parts of the field, Stafford "ACCESSES" all parts of the field....

On RB Kyren Williams ... "abile to shrink his surface area"

On the Rams use of motion on offense ... after every play we have to talk ...their menu is not big, but they run those plays to perfection ...

On LB Divine Diablo (not "Davante" as the captioned text shows) had several splash plays last week

On Cooper Kupp and Rams other receivers, their toughness, blocking, and culture.

On CB Jokorian Bennett ... cutting down traffic ...

On DT Adam Butler .... attitude

On Raiders pass rush ... being over aggressive ... "dip in dip out" ... recognize the backfield set, can you get Br'er Rabbit keys off of the OL

With J Witt good to go, I hope MCV is smart with using Kupp. We should hammer the Raiders - Provided we can stop their run game. Hope Speights is in some packages on early downs to help with that. Would also love to see Hummel in some coverage packages for known passing situations. I think both could excel that way and start to get more assimilated into the rotation at ILB.

I think the Rams beat the Raiders who are reeling and already are in desperation mode.

Regarding the Vikings they are a good enough team to beat the Rams but can they? I'm not so sure. Darnold is on track to put up his best year in his career. That is because he has the surrounding cast. That said he's been sacked about 14 times in 5 games. In other words just how good is his OL? I think the Rams will have both Avila and Kupp back for that game. Noteboom should return giving them depth on the OL.

If Kupp is back that changes the dynamic of this whole offense as Matt will have his favorite WR back. I think Shula will slow down the frantic pace of his defensive rotation. I think that has been part of the problem. He was trying to keep his guys fresh, but it also doesn't allow them to get into a "groove". There is a fine line between not enough rest and not enough snaps. If Charles Woods can play SCB in that game it frees up Lake to play as a safety. If Williams can stay healthy their CB situation should improve. I expect Speights to make his debut as a starting LB. I think we will see Hummel more as well. He's like having an in-the-box SS which is what they need though Nick Hampton has that same potential. Again he was scouted in his draft as a potential ILB though he might be locked in as the rotational partner with Hoecht at edge. Both Hummel and Hampton have sub 4.6 speed, its a matter of coaching them up to play the position.
