There's a nickel in it for anybody that can ever find me picking against the Rams. I've done that in the past in the interest of fair play and trying to be realistic, and I don't like it. It's not me. It's fine for you - it's not me.

Seattle is going to pound the football with the run and then take some shots, not a great for a young defense that is weak up the middle and young DB's.

I sure wish I knew we had Kupp maybe we could win in a shootout. if we lose this game we are looking at being 1-4 to begin the season.

I won't disagree with the 1-4 start. The NFL sure made the first 5 games really tough for us. But the schedule does get easier after that. I count 8 winnable games for us. Now the odds are we don't win all 8. Its the NFL. Stuff happens. Any given Sunday. But its also possible we don't lose all 9 of the other games. So 8 wins is my prediction. I consider that their ceiling.

As far as the young DB's. I think they can be pretty good in coverage. My concern is their tackling. I worry about RB's getting bigger plays because of missed tackles. And yards after catch for the receivers. If they tackle well enough, they can limit big plays.
