We have the ear of the Rams' front office, and with them wanting to integrate into a "new" community, I think they'll be open to everything.

I'm just warming up, but we should strike while the iron is hot. Something public. (That is why a billboard could be great for the team advertising, but also any sponsors and RFU would have space on it.)
Mostly, we develop a relationship with the Ram on different levels.

Organize charities or fundraisers for different LA needs. Uhhh, a clean graffiti day, or perhaps feed/warm LA homeless day (Rams hoodies, beanies caps). What does LA need??

Rams outreach organized with/by RFU and funded by sponsors and Rams who would get media spin.

Car washes with Ram cheerleader (I'll volunteer for that) to raise money for the above. Get the beast to advertise it. Proceeds go to St Judes.

Also working with the local media helps on the back end. DJ's talk show hosts, newspaper writers alike are geeked the Rams are back and are always looking to things to get extra exposure for themselves.

Feed the beast in the name of the LA Rams and Rams Fans United.

So now,,, who is independently wealthy and has the time to take any of this on ? I will definitely contribute.

Lots of good ideas in this thread. I'm not independently wealthy, but I am an event planner and happy to donate my time.

Good as a place as any to point this out....I'm changing back to my usual board name of RedAlice. Thank you Elvis!

Contact the Mafia...I hear they are loaded with dough.

Being from Jersey myself...I've got some interesting mafia stories. Probably should start a new thread.

Yeah, I was just a pup when my parents decided being surrounded by tons of relatives had lost its luster so they moved to California. Having been raised on Frankie and Annette beach movies, the first thing my parents did was run into the Pacific Ocean. Too bad for them, the ocean in Santa Cruz is about 56 degrees and not the toasty Southern California water that Frankie and Annette frolicked in.

As for the mafia, both sets of my grandparents had contact, not willingly, with the mafia. I did a book report on one of my relatives, who was in the mafia and who had written a book about his experience, when I was in high school. He was able to write a book about it because at that point in his life, he and his family were in the witness protection program.
