Yup, Chargers aren't going anywhere. They don't have a LA Stadium plan, and they never had a SD Stadium plan. All they got is a politico-lawyer mouthpiece who doesn't shutup.

They also have a lot of fellow owners (including most, if not all, of the relocation committee) on their side.

This thing is going to be intense right up until the end. And i'm still not convinced it will be over next week...

Yes, bizzare dynamic. I do agree it won't be over next week. I think Chargers' saga will continue thru at least next season, and perhaps until CoC is ready.

Certification papers for LA finalize relocation fee, rules mitigating suing, agreement to pay hefty tax if sell part of team after LA move

That could mean many things. If Stan signs that will be telling of the power of this statement.

sorry, but I don't understand this logic

They probably feel they don't need much more than 4 pages, because Spanos knows that he has a lot of support from his buddies, so the case doesn't need to be made.

That goes to the reason why the NFL will lose in court. The vote is a popularity contest and not a business decision based on merits of the relocation proposal.

I though the same thing. What an uninspiring presentation. These guys a not trying very hard. It definitely shows his level of confidence within the group of their support. It's like Spanos is Hoover or Hefner. I don't get it.

Richardson's silence was a bit noteworthy as well. Iger is going to try and seal the deal at the meeting. I get the only shot ESK has left in the barrel is the legal one. Besides the coolest digs of course.

None of this has anything to do with anything other than these 30 some dudes making a very majority decision for what ever the reason. It doesn't look like the NFL give to shakes about the Rams in LA. ..
The amount of money 25% of Spanos' alleged market share loss might come to, over 15 years, could be applied now, in cash towards a Chargers asset,, like a stadium.. Then SPanos STFU and go away.

Kroenke must be some douche or why else would he be meeting such resistance. Kind of amazing the Los Angeles envy..

Where is the Carson stadium opening date guarantee?

I don't get why the media isn't on this. Are they that stupid?

It's insane that the Carson project is not being subjected to any scrutiny.

There is no way the finance guys can look at both projects and say there's not much difference.

I can understand the media guys like Vinny and Cole not getting it. They probably never took a math class after high school.

But, the NFL has finance guys who look at this stuff and they must be screaming at the owners telling them Carson is a joke.
