Fisher staying means Mannion is in the works for sure.
Its puzzling though that if Mannion is the QB of the future (In Fisher eyes), that he remained inactive at the end of the year and got no snaps.
On the other hand, if there is a QB available at 15 that Fisher cant pass up (a la Gurley or Donald) it wouldnt surprise me to see him pull the trigger even if he likes Mannion

I see a coach who knows he's safe.

Playing Mannion this year would be altering the plan in Fisher's eyes (imo) and Fisher is a man who sees no reason to alter his plan...
Like I said, it doesn't really matter who's QB.

Fisher seems to be pretty happy about Keenum and 166 yards passing. Why invest in a non-entity?

166 yards and no INT
No points either but I digress....

That's the sad part. Those numbers aren't even as good as they seem. We're talking about teams that likely weren't even trying to stop the pass these last few weeks. These are essentially padded stats for Keenum!

I happen to still think he's got upside. But I wouldn't wish a second tour with Fisher on him and I don't think even his harshest critics would either.

ESPN lists Rams interest in RGIII as "medium." They still have the city wrong, but it's on the ESPN LA page - which, btw has added Rams to it's team list at the left.

http://espn.go.com/losangeles/

St. Louis Rams: In many ways, RG III and the Rams would bring his NFL journey full circle. It was the Rams who originally traded the No. 2 selection for a bounty of draft picks that allowed Washington to pick Griffin in the 2012 NFL draft. It's not out of the realm of possibility. Rams coach Jeff Fisher has said he will explore various options when it comes to quarterbacks after starters Nick Foles and Case Keenum combined to land the Rams at the bottom of the NFL in nearly every major passing statistic in 2015. The question is really about whether Griffin is better than what the Rams have and whether whoever is running the passing game can understand and utilize his skills to get the most out of him. If the answer to both of those questions is yes, Griffin could be in play. -- Nick Wagoner

SAS and Bayless are down on ESK for not producing wins and the tone of his relo letter. Sorry for StL but LA is badazz yet ambivalent when the LA team isn't winning. Hard to argue that last point.

I'd like the Rams to trade their 1st and 7th to the Aints for Drew Breeze. Probably unreal but that's who we need to become instant playoff contendor's. If not, then after Goff goes early, we should draft Hogan from Stanford. Tough, smart, been a winner, poised in big games, good leader.

Hard to ignore all the red flags there. Questionable personality with decline in performance makes him pretty iffy.
