So while it may look like a huge question mark to us, Nixon and Peacock will be able to sell it the NFL. Translation, they've got a $400M plan. Let's not kid ourselves. We may not like it, but thats what's out there on the table.

I'm not worried or interested if they're full of it or not. My whole point is this is a red flag to the Owners according to Grubmans own comments.

My fear (and line of thinking) is that the majority of owners don't really give 2 shits about the whole thing and will be more than happy when it's over. Taking the pro-LA side of me out of it, and looking at it objectively, it is a win win for the owners. So I don't have any impression that there's a group of 32 guys ready to roll up their sleeves and come together on what's best for them. I think there's a handful of pro Spanos and a handful of pro Kroenke that are duking it out.
For my money, the angle I think needs to be played is how Cha/Raiders will require realignment. That does affect most of the owners as the scheduling gets out of whack

If we take our blinders off and really look at re-alignment? Keeping the Rams in StL and putting them in the AFC W w KC, etc.....is actually an easier schedule and cuts out the 10am starts for West Coast teams. Also make it easier for fans to travel twice a year or so.

btw: that is my nightmare secenario. Just pointing out logistics since you said what is easier for the owners. The most easy.....
