Ellison is a game changer.

For one i kind of doubt it's true.

And for two i'd been hoping Ellison would get involved as most people see him as the great white hope of keeping the Raiders in the Bay Area.

So Ellison and L.A. seems pretty unlikely to me, but i guess we'll see...

And like Missouri Kroneke wouldn't move to LA for greener pastures?

What is the fake rumor?

Ellison buying Raiders or portion of them? How small can Mark Davis make his slice of pie?

He doesn't even own the whole team. I think it's like 50% or something.

The bay area is nothing like St. Louis.

I'm not sure the pastures are that much greener in L.A. You don't see Silicon Valley relocating to Los Angeles. You don't see Goldman Sachs financing stadiums anywhere but NY, The Bay Area, and L.A.

Maybe this L.A./Ellison/Raiders thing is legit but if the Raiders did move to L.A., that would leave a huge hole/opportunity in Northern CA. The Raiders can grab that opportunity by staying. But they need money.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ellison try to capitalize on that...

And it's not even him. His mom owns the team. When she dies there will be estate taxes to be dealt with...

Correct. I believe his mom only owns about 42% of the team.

Kroenke and his crew could easilyyyy handle LA but I wouldn't mind Iger helping Inglewood.

That's probably not going happen but it wouldn't hurt.

The Oakland Bay area is a lucrative market even if the city is cash strapped. The amount of nearby private and corporate money is astounding and a lot of it is in the East Bay now. If the Faiders got something built on the Coliseum site and did it right, it's an absolute cash cow.

The Oakland Rams. Oh the irony.
