They have not built the Riverfront so when can we see some honesty and find out they have yet to support football enough to build a stadium and Riverfront if approved will be the first one.Good points Legends! Also, the Georgia Dome and RCA dome never made it 25 years. The BS about no city building 2 stadiums in 25 years is just not accurate. You could throw the MetroDome in there as well. It was just over 30 but should've been torn down well before that. by Hacksaw 9 years 6 months ago Total posts: 24523 Joined: Apr 15 2015 AT THE BEACH Moderator Re: Joe Buck from Peter King's MMQB POST #28 ramsfan1977 wrote:I have this weird feeling the STL stadium proposal goes up in flames before the Vote.As I understand it Nixon hasn't submitted the plan yet. They built a convention center and then added a team and all they have right now is a proposal no stadium has been built. So in 25 years they built a semi quasi stadium and until the proposal is accepted that is all that has been built. In fact if the Dome was truly a stadium they built they would have never said they could not shut down it down for refurbishing it. They could not shut the Dome down as it would have cost them conventions dollars. Sounds like a convention center to me.
