While I agree with you, Pete Carroll picked the same unqualified OC that Fisher did. I assume that Hags fans feel the same way about Brian Schottenheimer that we do, but that's an assumption on my part. That offense is sort of working for them, after a fashion.

Schottenheimer was the best OC Fisher had with us and he quit. (He also wasn't very good but compared to the next two he was amazing). It was downhill from there, in large part, because top tier coordinators weren't interested in running the type of offense Fisher wanted to run...

Schottenheimer was entirely qualified, fielded several top 1/3 in the league offenses, the replacement for him is where Fisher destroyed the team. Schott is still an OC. Boras and Cignetti merely position coaches. That's where he lost the team

What E said ^^ ...
It always felt the Rams had become lepers to higher level players and top tier coaches / coordinators. Not sure Fisher had a chance even if he wanted better. After the move back home it should have gotten better. Boras? Please.. :?

As far as tanking (which was brought up before) I really doubt that ever happened as the StL Rams under Fish were just the same or better than the LA Rams version. That's counter-intuitive to the relocation / tanking theory.

And that's just it. The type of offense Fisher wanted to run. He was married to asserting that kind of control over the offense, rather than hiring the best OC he could find and letting him do his thing. Certainly that's where he lost the fan base, long before he lost the team.

The results of those choices is where he lost me..

If Kroenke really hired Fisher because Fisher had "experience moving a team" like some people think, then Stan needs to sell the team and take a cruise. But first, fire Dumoff.
