Turnovers kill. Period.

Oh, they absolutely to kill. Goff threw a bad pick that put the ball in the redzone for them and they scored a TD. He also fumbled that directly resulted in a TD with the return. His other two INT's gave them the ball in their territory. I know its a lot to ask of the defense to shut them down every time. but it isn't ask too much to maybe shut them down once or twice. It never happened after a turnover. And it didn't happen much on the other possessions.

I'm not making excuses for Goff. His mistakes were crucial. Its something he needs to correct or we're gonna have problems. But when your offense scores 34 points before the defense's TD and its not enough, you have to look at the defense. A below average game by the defense would have won. But they were a heckuva lot worse than just below average.

Tampa had open receivers all day. Shanahan is very good at scheming open receivers. If Tampa's receivers have a field day on the Rams defense, I shudder to think what might happen when we play the 49ers. 40 points won't be good enough again if they can't fix that. And it won't matter if Goff plays lights out or not.

And TGII (who looked just fine to me) barely got his number called.

Did Todd try to tap Veronica or something?

I will say he's developing great blocking skills.

Rams across board played like shit today. Goff has had 7 TOs in two games. Let’s stop with these analogies. Ball protection matters. Goff has thrown 8 and 12 picks last two years. He’s now thrown 6. And he’s coughing up fumbles once a game. The empty stats he put up are meaningless.

Goff is NOT the big problem.
Goff's poor play today is a symptom of the Big Problem.

That Big Problem is our OLine!!! :idea2: :arrow2: :!2:

This "Kromer can fix anything BS" does not hold water for this Rams Fan Since 1967!! :x

so what do you think the outcome would have been if the rams defense held the bucs to their season scoring average through the first 3 weeks (20 points per game)? if they held the bucs to 27? to 30? i get it, it's all goff. :roll2:

It's almost gotten to the point where they bring Brown in if they're going to actually run the ball and Gurley is for decoy and blocking.

McVay is still searching for answers and an identity for this year's offense.

Goff looks like a rookie this year. Idk why but it’s strange.

And if I hear that Kromer will coach them up one more time I'll pull my hair out. We need talent on our OL.

Goff's the issue?? How about where's the run game? Show me a QB who has no run game and succeeds. How about the O line?? How about that defense yesterday that couldn't stop shit?? I'll take Goff over 2/3rds of the starters in the league.
