Um, JN led all NFL OTs with most sacks, QB hit & hurries for 2022. Dead last. PFF may be imperfect, but dead last is not a good spot, nor a very promising place (for future considerations) to be at, IMO.Like does everybody here think that 34 year old Matthew Stafford is indestructable??!! JN is lauded for handling JPP well in our Tampa Playoff game....that's the JPP who is born in 1989 and had 2.5 sacks in 12 games played for the Bucs last season. Yeah, yeah....JPP, what a 2021 AllPro stud! Question: Who was Andrew Whitworth's backup at LT in SBLVI?Answer: Windsor, Ontario, Canada's own Alaric Jackson. JN was on IR for SBLVI. Wanna talk "consistency"?? Joe Noteboom has been injured EVERY YEAR he's gotten onto the gridiron for Los Ramos. Now I do not hate Joe Noteboom.....for pete's sake, Joe Noteboom played hockey, Canada's national sport (although some claim lacrosse is ).....but seriously, and honestly speaking as a baby-boomer Rams fan, who is hoping for more Ram SuperBowls as I head towards my 6th decade following The Horns....let's just admit that Joe Noteboom is NOT the longterm LT for us, and that $40 Mil was not a shrewd deal by us for a career backup OT who gets hurt a helluva lot, eh. I read that Pastoors structured the Noteboom deal so Los Ramos could bail out after 2 years if JN's performance was subpar and just suffer thru 2023 with the NFL's highest paid SwingTackle on our payroll. Well, looks to me like that's the direction the USS Noteboom is sailing now. As always, JMO.Go Rams!! The Rams needed a starter to replace Whit, there were more important players who needed to get paid (Stafford, Kupp, Donald) and our highest draft pick was in the late 3rd. What was the alternative?Unfortunately, it didn’t work out. Noteboom struggled, then got hurt. There are always calculated risks when making personnel decisions in a capped league. In 2021, the Rams bet on their ability to succeed with an oft-injured, former 4th round pick, at center. That worked out pretty well. With Noteboom, not so much. Oday was already getting pushed back on bull rushes. Allen can hold his own, one on one, but if he is not covered, He needs to help out on double teaming one of the guards. Then you have Jourdan Rodrigue stating most likely the OL lineup of,AJax, Evans, Allen, Oday, RHav, I'm sure thats what she has been seeing during practice. It happens. by 69RamFan 2 years 8 months ago Total posts: 3592 Joined: Oct 15 2016 LA CA by way of NY/NJ Superstar The O line POST #198 ramsman34 wrote:I could see that or Skura in for Evans but I think MCV wants to keep whatever semblance of continuity he has with Evans there.
