Two things:
Opening game(s): Can't imagine Stan being cool with Chargers starting the Reg Season in Kroenkeland. They could use a Chargers game as one of the test runs.
If the Rams are good this year as expected, especially coming off a Super Bowl victory (please, please please), they could open on the Thursday Kickoff Game. If not that, then they could be the big Sunday Night Game. I'd be very surprised after all the work to get an LA team and the fanfare of this stadium, they would be anything but one of these options.

New Unis: The new uni thing is funny. All the differing inside info reminds me of relocation posts.
"Reporter dude made a face and silently nodded when I asked if the new unis would be purple with green horns."
"A guy I know's brother works in Nike's shipping department. He saw the shipment and says they will put the Rams in silk jumpers."
Or the statement for any discussion..."Kevin Demoff is a liar."

Go Rams!

I had a dream that the Rams announced that the new uniforms were going to be designed by Joel Schumacher.

I woke up screaming.

Mr. Sparkle wrote:Just a feeling that the NFL will want a "fair" use of the stadium. I.e. not playing favorites. I will be even more bitter with the Chargers if I am paying more than 1,000% more for my PSL (completely true by the way, not exaggerating) and I have to watch opening day at the new stadium from home. I really think one will get the Pre season opener and one will get the regular season opener. Really hope I am wrong.

To make it fair,,,,
I would have both teams play their pre-season games at Carson/Coliseum
And make the opening game with the RAMs opening up the new stadium...

I'm sure, Kroenke and the NFL have that all planned out...
Especially for what he has done for the Charger to let him play rent free at the new stadium... and taking all of the overseas games each year... until the new stadium is complete....

I hope the Chargers move to Oakland or St. Louis or Timbuktu. The Rams have NEVER had their own place and now that they finally do, we gotta worry about being fair to the Chargers?!? The Chargers, who had their own stadium and a city that didn't want them to leave. Screw that. If they're going to be a mooch, then they get what they get.

You'd think and I looked at recent stadium openings to see what others had done.

-The Atlanta Falcons did start with pre season but they initially had soccer as the first event.

-The Minnesota Vikings had a soccer friendly as their first event.
https://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2016/08/ ... ium-preps/
Then they had the two concerts.
https://www.minneapolis.org/media/news- ... -concerts/
Then a pre season game after that.

-When the Braves opened their new baseball stadium in 2017 they had two pre season games there limited to like 15,000 ticket holders. Then they had a college baseball game capped at like 30,000 on purpose.

I'm not trying to start a fight like I'm known to do: I'm just saying that if they open with a pre season game that means they'll get 80,000 in the building and that's not a good way to start. I remember the first game at the TWA Dome in St. Louis in the middle of the season and that was a disaster. Half the escalators didn't work. One set of ramps were closed. Concession stands had tons of issues and the bathrooms by me had pee water leaking out onto the concourse.

The Raiders lasted 12 seasons in LA and I have the "under" for that with the Chargers. Then they'll move to London.
