When you have a Derrick Henry or Saquon Barkley, you can run them 300 times. I don't think that's good for Kyren. He ran it 316 times last year. In 8 games he carried it 20 times or more and in 5 of those he didn't average 4.0 yards per carry. He's not built for 300 carries. With Ferguson, I was initially a bit skeptical because of the report I first read that indicated his run blocking needs work, but the more I read around about him, it’s pretty clear that he has a lot to offer and while he may need some coaching up, has some very good strengths and skills. As for the rest of the picks, it is as if they approached the entire draft after round 2 by deliberately addressing every single weakness that showed up in the Eagles playoff game. Run defense? Speed and getting explosive running plays on offense? Strengthening the front 7? It’s like they had a list of things to fix from that game, and then lined up a series of players who could each credibly provide one of those fixes. And one thing every pick has in common. They are all intense players, to the point of ferocious. They don’t all have ideal physical traits for their position (though Ferguson does), but they all play aggressively. 2 by Elvis 2 months 2 days ago Total posts: 41479 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Re: The 2025 Draft POST #188 RFU Season Ticket Holder by actionjack 2 months 2 days ago Total posts: 5166 Joined: May 19 2016 Sactown Hall of Fame The 2025 Draft POST #189 ramsman34 wrote:Yep, everyone should chill and let the Rams build the initial 53. In 8 games he carried it 20 times or more and in 5 of those he didn't average 4.0 yards per carry. He's not built for 300 carries. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. We simply don’t get to watch and interact with these guys like the coaches do. So our opinions are really ill informed. And that’s OK. I have faith in the Rams and I get the focus on 2026 but I was stoked after the 2024 draft. DeSilva /Rams wire gave grades of one A (Paul) a C and the rest Bs. Maybe that’s the difference of drafting #26 but I have to agree. I welcome this draft class and hope for the best. 1 Reply 19 / 25 1 19 25 Display: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by: AuthorPost timeSubject Sort by: AscendingDescending Jump to: Forum Rams/NFL Other Sports Rams Fans United Q&A's Board Business 241 posts Jun 29 2025
