I started following the team in the mid-late 1970s because I loved the uniform.

I've been a fan for 40+ years.

I am an "old school" fan and the look is very important to me.

I don't have a problem with the new helmets/uniforms.

I would never presume to tell anyone that they should agree with me on something so subjective, and the reverse should be true.

I'm just finding the overall volume of posts ridiculing and condemning the uniforms before we've even seen them on the field to be a bit excessive.

I think that they might look better on the players and on the field than in promo shots, yes.

Can't say I agree. I don't think my imagination or perception is that out of whack. An undertone of green and/or some sunshine isn't going to improve what I dislike about the uniforms. As I have mentioned before, Gurley breaking long TD's against Dallas was great, but he still looked like crap aesthetically in those mismatched abominations.
