TV is really changing. Between broadcast quality and all the WiFi driven streaming, this aint our daddys television. Hoping Apple is less propriatary about TV then it was about music content..

I was hoping they'd keep DirecTV as an alternate.

I'm looking forward to being free of DirecTV but they were pretty good about basically giving you Sunday Ticket if you called and complained about how expensive everything is. Will Apple or Amazon use ST as a loss leader to drive users to their service? One can only hope.

But one thing is for sure, whoever gets it is gonna pay a ton for it. I'm not sure how generous they're gonna be feeling towards consumers.

And what becomes of Andrew Siciliano?

I know this is a "no, duh" statement: but not everyone lives in a place with the bandwidth to stream.

Can you get cable or fiber optic light pipe where you are? Satellite wont cut it, , , but you knew that. That would be a drag to have to go to sports bars each game.

While I'll miss watching Red Zone and yelling "SWITCH TO THE RAMS GAME!" over and over, I'm definitely looking forward to being able to stream every Rams game.

And some of us like to DVR games. I'm not always available to watch a game live from beginning to end. Commercials suck.

Sunday Ticket is only for out of market games, isn't it?

Local TV channels will still carry the local games.

I have never lived in market for the Rams, so for me LEGAL streaming will be great. I have always had to either go to a bar or not so legally stream all Rams games that are not nationally broadcast.

DirectTV as the only other option has been stupid, as if you can't get DirectTV, then you have zero other options. That is the most unfair, none of these other complaints about the changes are even close.
