And, he simply has to come in as the #4. Those other 3 know this offense inside and out and have chemistry with #9. Over the next few weeks the chemistry with OBJ and Staff will build and MCV will design/tweak plays to scheme for OBJ success.

I just hope he is a willing blocker. Hopefully the big 3 will rub off on him in the blocking dept.

So let me get this straight......the Rams are paying Von Miller AND Beckham a total of 1.95 mil for a half season each?

Kroenke is going to have to give Snead and Demoff some huge raises!! What can he tell them, "I can't afford it"?

1.95 mil for the top 2 sought after players (who don't frequent massage parlors) around the trade deadline.

Wow!

Bummer we'd have to part with 3 mil more if we make the Superbowl! :roll2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :shock2:

QFTOS: NFCW REACTIONS, OBJ TO RAMS EDITION,

SF
If I was Beckham that would be an easy decision. Play with a QB that doesn't care enough about his teammates to get a shot or go to LA and play with a hungry Matt Stafford.

Sean McVay's is where you want to be if you are a wideout..

OBJ signing with the Rams is absolutely dumb... Kupp, Woods, Higbee and Jefferson. There is only 1 football. Rams just buying everything they can. Von, OBJ, Fluffy Evan

Rams going 4 wide against our 3 remaining healthy DB's. Genius.

It was up to OBJ. He wanted to go to an actual winning franchise to win a super bowl

After getting OBJ I've never wanted to beat the Rams so bad

The news gets better and better for the rams and worse and worse for the niners .... sheez ....

Rams just sealed their fate lol. This will end about as well as OBJ in NY or OBJ in CLE/

LA is a different world than those places. Not only does he get to play for one of the best teams in the NFL he can reside in a world class city with a world class Arena. The stars are aligned for him to succeed not fail. He gonna love seeing himself run on that big screen.

77-0 Rams.
I'll be somewhat shocked if it's that close.

Who the Rams got? Bunch of nobodies.

oh s**t Rams got OBJ now, hahahhaha <white flag>

All the DB's faking injuries this week so they don't have to be embarrassed on national TV.

Hopefully the RAMS CEO publicly apologizes and launches an internal investigation into why this was allowed to happen.

At this point, I am only interested in seeing how many of their shiny new toys we can break. f**k the rams!

McVay will just claim that after the Rams opening drive he never bothered to look at the score board for the rest of the game. Just didn't cross his mind to keep track.

Rams 149
49ers 3

AZ
Of course they are

Kupp is feeding so losing targets isn't going to make him happy and OBJ is going to be in the same situation as the Brown's.

Poor Van Jefferson.

cards with murray healthy team still better imo

SEATTLE
Headliner on ESPN. Good as confirmed.

Nail in the coffin. Either Pete, Russ, or both are gone next year

I really hate the Rams.

Do the Rams not have the same salary cap as everyone else?
Ramsey, Floyd, Jackson, Stafford, Miller, OBJ, who cares..........come on in.

pretty simple the Rams FO and HC are playing to win, Ours is playing to exist.

lol. lol. lol.

Kroenke may want his Trophy now since he may not be in the League if this goes through and he loses the Lawsuit.

To anyone but a divisional opponent ffs…

they are the team to beat right now... no question about it...

I don’t like the Rams but I can’t hate them right now. They are all in and in it to win it. I like that attitude.

OBJ moves in mysterious ways.

The Rams addressed a weakness. We let them.

Since apparently Russ was lobbying hard and personally reaching out to OBJ to come to Seattle and he signed with our division Rivals, do you think this impacts Wilson's desire to stay in Seattle?

Why would OBJ want to come here we are not good, we have 2 stud wrs and only through the ball 25 times a game as it is. The rams are throwing it 35 times a game and are a serious contender.

I agree but, it’s the addition of him to a team that already has a potent offense (i.e..the Rams) that makes him attractive. He breaks routes but gets open.

Today was a good day til this

As much as we go 3 wide, having 4 that can play at a high level makes a lot of sense. Didn't pan out with DJax but maybe we see a real rotation now...

I get this feelin that the only thing Kyles consistent with is getting his squad prepared to play his ol buddy McVay.

Be nice to get a blow out victory on Monday, put a stamp on it.

Lets face it. Socal is the best place to play...well...anything. Sun, surf, warmth, movies, commercials, big houses with views, ever increasing property values, and on, and on. What's not to love? Between the Dodgers, the Lakers, and the Rams we have a who's who of professional athletes.

DJax is a diva
OBJ is a diva
DJax turns 35 in a couple of weeks
OBJ just turned 29
DJax proved he couldn't play a team game
OBJ gets another chance to play a team game
It's an improvement on paper
We'll see how it works out.
But few defenses have the guys to cover our current top 4 when they're all on the field....

Can he handle being the number 3 or 4 WR?
If he doesn't get his targets, how does he react?
How much of the Pro Bowl OBJ is still there?

Pros
Financial investment is inconsequential.
Could he be to the Rams what Antonio Brown was to the Bucs last year?
WR depth no longer a concern.
He didn't go to Green Bay or another team we could face in the playoffs.

Les Snead: "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!!!!!!!

This cannot be under estimated. This is a huge factor in the success of this acquisition.
