But drilling them in the ribs? Yeah, I'm all for that. I remember pitching when I was young. I hit the first batter in the ankle bone and he was a very good base stealer. But it swelled up so much he couldn't take off. Legs are little harder to aim at but if you hit them right it can slow them down. I was notorious for hitting batters back then but it was rarely on purpose. At least most the time. I didn't mind them wondering though. I do have to question how much intent was in Kelly's head. He was having a heck of a time controlling the fast ball. The one over Correa's head was a breaking ball.
